St. Alexis Toth Brotherhood, the Diocesan Men’s Group, held its second gathering on Saturday, Nov 02, 2024 at Holy Apostles Orthodox Church, Mechanicsburg, PA.
The group was first addressed by Protodeacon Peter Skoog - importance of fellowship and the mission of the brotherhood was discussed. This group is open for men of all ages who desire to build relationships with other Orthodox men, seek spiritual growth, look for a deeper knowledge of our faith, as well as ways how to better serve our parishes, diocese and the Orthodox Church in general.
Then we had dinner together, which was followed by the Great Vespers. After Vespers Fr. Timothy Hojnicki did a lecture on the Orthodox view of politics, “The Lord is King.”
The group is grateful to Fr. Timothy and the faithful of Holy Apostles Church for hosting this gathering, and for the lecture.

Breadly was made a Catechumen on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the beginning of Divine Liturgy. May our Lord Jesus Christ strengthen and keep him as he is learning about Orthodox Faith and preparing for the Holy Illumination. Please keep him in your prayers.

We were also honored to welcome faithfull from other parishes in our Deanery.
It was a true blessing to have with us Mitered Archpriest Nicholas MH. - a retired priest from Alaska. Father Nicholas was present at the glorification of St. Herman, and he shared his memories with us at the end of Liturgy.
Following Liturgy the faithfull and the clergy gathered at the parish hall for breakfast and fellowship.
